API Clinical Data Modeller (Health Informatics) - London

We’re recruiting for an experienced Clinical Data Modeller to join our Battersea based healthcare tech client; one of the UK’s largest developers of front- line clinical systems and solutions within the UK’s health sector. 

You'll be joining a new, dedicated API team taking ownership for the quality and consistency of the API across all the company’s software products and linking in with 3rd party providers API. 

About the role

The team are working on the AWS technology stack, helping to define the clinical model, how that translates into the API, setting relevant mock test environments, ultimately ensuring the best possible products and service provision across a wide range of internal and external customers.
This role will see you utilise your data modelling experience to help the team develop a highly functional and flexible clinical healthcare data model. As well as developing the healthcare data model, you’ll actively contribute to technical and clinical meetings with other experts in the field.  
The team share responsibility for continuous improvement and managing the Scrum processes, collaborating closely, leading and participating in stand ups, meetings, including stakeholder meetings.

What they’re looking for….

You’re an experienced Data Modeller comfortable working in a fast paced and fluid Agile Scrum development environment. You enjoy collaborating with your colleagues as well as other internal/external stakeholders to get the best results. You have excellent communication skills and are naturally inquisitive, a problem solver, possessing a high level of attention to detail.  

Key skills/experience for this role include:

  • Data modelling in healthcare;
    • HL7/FHIR
    • openEHR
  • JSON
  • XML
  • HTML

If you also have experience in, or knowledge of, any of the following areas it would be really useful, but it's not essential:

  • Prescribing; Nursing/Community; Child Health; Agile Scrum; Online documentation; OpenAPI standards
