C# .Net Developer - Full Stack - Lancashire

We have a great new opportunity for a Developer to join one of the leading pharmacy and healthcare software solutions companies in the UK

The role

This Full Stack Software Development role will be based in Leyland, Lancashire and will see you working on a new greenfield product portfolio. You’ll be using the latest Microsoft technologies and actively involved in solutions design, design workshops and code review, as well as participating in Agile Scrum stand ups, reviews and retrospectives.

What experience is needed?

They’re looking for a junior to mid-level Software Developer with hands on commercial coding experience ideally with C# / .Net Core / .Net / React.
A talented individual with a genuine passion and enthusiasm for quality solutions and development.  They’re keen to encourage you to learn and use new technologies, and be confident in expressing new ideas to help drive innovations. Plus, as team work and collaboration is vital to the success of the project, you’ll have very strong interpersonal and communication skills.

You'll have a degree in Computer Science, or a related subject, and/or demonstrable software development experience, along with knowledge and experience of areas such as:

  • C#, .Net Core, .NET, Visual Studio.
  • Front end development using React, JavaScript and/or Angular/node.js
  • Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
  • Web Services
  • Responsive design
  • Microservices
  • Agile Scrum practices and development methods

If you do have any experience of databases, Kubernetes/Docker and/or an understanding of secure programming practises, this would be really beneficial.
