They are at the forefront of CNC machining with a specialism in Adaptive Machining, developing complex software manufacturing solutions in aerospace applications and a range of other industry sectors. The role is based within their development department in beautiful Buckinghamshire.

In this role you will get to do all of the things that you’d expect as a CAM/CAD applications engineer with manufacturing or software development experience. You’ll also get the chance to influence the business and play a real part in the company going forward. You’ll be involved with applications engineering and development for a wide range of industries. The role involves developing bespoke CAD/CAM solutions, working with the team to develop diverse technical requirements, producing the end-result technical specifications and testing and optimising processes using CNC machining.

You must have a CAD/CAM background, possibly with an engineering qualification at HNC level or upwards, or you’ll have commercial experience possibly from the engineering, manufacturing or software sectors and in complex surface modelling. Any programming experience with the likes of VB.Net or similar would be a bonus and if you’ve experience with Siemens NX, Catia or Elcam or Openmind then all the better.

You’ll have a bright, inquisitive and motivated mind-set and a real passion to bring something to the business and influence things. You should have a strong work ethic and a methodical approach.
