Finance Assistant – hybrid home and office work. Leyland
We’re working with a Leyland based IT company, looking to recruit an additional Finance Assistant for a role covering sales invoicing, credit control, sales support and general finance admin work
The position will be hybrid working, although they are open to a flexible working pattern. We are looking for a person who is self-motivated and is able to work well under pressure. Personal qualities are the most important as it’s within a small but growing subsidiary of an international company, where there is a close working relationship with a small number of colleagues.
The position involves:
Sales invoicing – raising invoices from CRM data
Credit control – chasing customers for late payments and dealing with any issues raised in the process
Sales support – ensuring that information in accounting and CRM records is accurate
Finance admin support – assisting finance administrator on general finance duties.
The successful candidate will report to the finance administrator, and should be able to demonstrate the following qualities/skills:
Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
Customer focussed
Works well within a team
Previous experience in an accounts environment, associated with sales and credit control is desirable, but not essential.
Integrity
Good knowledge of Excel
Integrity, a good communicator and problem solver and logical approach
Although this position is full time, we would consider reduced hours for the right candidate, and the opportunity to be fully home-based
