We have an opportunity for Junior - Mid-level Front End React Developers to join one of the leading pharmacy and healthcare software solutions companies in the UK.
The company is evolving their existing products and designing a new suite of integrated products, services and data to drive efficiencies, as well as giving their customers a fresher, more intuitive experience.
It's an excellent opportunity to work across the specification, detailed design, coding and testing on new developments, as well as enhancements.
The role
This new Development role will be based in Leyland, Lancashire and will see you working on a new greenfield product portfolio. You’ll be actively involved in solutions design, design workshops and code review, as well as participating in Agile Scrum stand ups, reviews and retrospectives.
What experience is needed?
They’re looking for a highly motivated Developer with commercial React and Front end experience.
A talented individual with a genuine interest and enthusiasm for quality solutions and coding. They’re keen to encourage you to learn and apply new technologies, and feel confident in expressing new ideas to help drive innovations. Plus, as team work and collaboration is vital to the success of the project, you’ll have very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You'll have a degree in Computer Science, or a related subject, and/or demonstrable software/web development experience;
- React, Visual Studio.
- Front end development using JavaScript and/or Angular/React/node.js
- Strong Redux, HTML5, CSS and Typescript/JavaScript skills
- Responsive design, web standards and architecture
- Front end deployment and using build tools
- Exposure to / understanding of UX design principles
- Agile Scrum practices and development methods; e.g. Continuous Integration and Refactoring
If you do have any experience of Node.JS backend, C#/.NET Core, Microservices , and/or an understanding of design patterns and webservices, these would also be really useful.
