Head of Portfolio and Business Change (Programme Manager) - London

An international multi-channel media company, which creates digital and mobile content with a reach of over 35 million users per month and more than 50% of the UK population, is currently looking for a Programme Manager / Head of Portfolio and Business Change

After extensive analysis they are about to embark on business transformation and change across their commercial technology and digital divisions, involving an overhaul of their existing technology and innovation with the introduction of a lean agile framework and an holistic approach to technology.

As Head of Business Change in charge of portfolio and business change you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the transformation.

They are implementing new ideas, governance, technology and architecture to ensure continued success delivering better UX, development and design while increasing traffic and commercial revenue for the business.

The role:

• lead and manage a talented fully matrixed IT team with a lean agile approach
• deliver business value through technology implementation
• lead in the understanding and use of new and emerging technology, Ecommerce solutions, system integration and infrastructure implementations in line with solutions and enterprise architecture
• manage the demand pipeline of multiple interconnected projects
• ensure the ongoing successful delivery of high level and complex projects
• drive forward demand management and planning process improvement work streams
• plan, manage and forecast budgets, timescales and resource
• manage external suppliers, vendors and internal stakeholders
• matrix management of project resource and delivery of business roadmaps

You:

Your skills and experience

• senior programme management experience managing complex software development projects
• extensive experience leading high level projects in a complex technical environment
• strong understanding of solutions design and architecture
• business change, portfolio management and budget management experience
• agile/kanban experience
• excellent understanding of current, new and emerging technologies
