HR Officer - Bristol

£35k-45k (DOE) + benefits - Human Resource

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to join the Bristol team of an award-winning global software solutions business.

As the HR Officer you will work closely with and support the business and Executive leadership team across a broad range of HR management and administrative duties, along with ad-hoc HR projects. It’s a stand-alone role with support from other areas of the group for payroll and externally regarding employment law and occupational health. You’ll be the first point of contact for HR related queries and issues, providing a well organised and professional HR function to the business, managing relevant systems, processes and policies.

The person they’re looking for

You’ll be a confident and approachable person with prior experience in a similar HR position, happy working in a stand-alone role.  You’ll be comfortable liaising and working with stakeholders at all levels, and be capable of taking a strategic view for the people side of the business, giving advice and input to support planning and decision making by the Exec team. Key experience and skills include;

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a confident, authentic and approachable individual
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to all tasks
  • Capable of presenting a highly confidential and professional approach to the role
  • Good problem solving skills, with natural curiosity and empathy
  • Familiarity with HR systems together with robust MS Office IT skills

Relevant qualifications e.g. CIPD would be an advantage.
It would also be really useful if you've had prior experience with; payroll or benefits admin and/or of working in a technology or professional services environment - but it's not essential.

This is a permanent, full time position (37.5hrs/week).
The office is in central Bristol – with flexibility for hybrid working; in the office and working remote from home.
