IT Analyst - North West

circa £30,000 plus benefits and 35 hour week - Technical Support

We’re recruiting an IT Analyst for one of the UK’s leading developers of Pharmacy software, GP Practice and Healthcare Data software solutions. With around 250+ people in the UK they're part of  a wider global group with over 5500 people working across 10 countries and a range of technology companies.
We’re currently looking for an experienced IT Analyst to join their Leyland based team (hybrid working), helping to provide an effective, efficient and high-quality support service for UK based company & client systems and infrastructure, including data centres, servers, networks & telephony systems.
 
You’re next role?
  • Proactively monitoring the IT infrastructure to meet agreed service levels and aim for complete customer satisfaction
  • Monitor the IT infrastructure, diagnose and troubleshoot any issues to ensure it is running at a secure and optimal level
  • Respond to requests via escalation and ticketing system to investigate hardware, software, application user issues or account errors
  • Support moves/adds/changes/deletes for the internal systems applications
  • To monitor open calls so clients, both internal and external, are kept informed of the progress of their incidents with constant awareness of service and operational level agreements under which One-IT operate
  • Primarily an office-based role however flexibility with working hours and travel, will be required in coordination with the Head of Internal Systems
What are they looking for?  
Experience in a similar or technical support role with a strong interest in IT technology. Team oriented with a strong customer service ethos and attention to detail. A natural problem solver who can diagnose complex issues and deliver solutions efficiently and professionally. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to translate technical language into non-IT jargon. Someone happy to contribute to the wider IT strategy, striving to deliver stabilisation and continuous improvement, with the ability to function and prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment and provide support to local and remote users 
  • General desktop support experience & up to date knowledge of Windows client systems (PC's/Laptops/Printers)
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques (WiFi, LAN, DNS, DHCP, Firewall Management)
  • Technical experience in core technologies such as Active Directory, Windows Server, VMWare, Microsoft Exchange, Firewalls and Cloud based solutions
  • Telephony support and configuration experience – VOIP and mobile. Managing essential maintenance tasks and adherence to security standards around backups, patching and endpoint security solutions
