Junior C# Developer - Lancashire

£20-30k DOE plus benefits, training, career progression - Software

We have an opportunity for a Junior level C# developer to join one of the leading pharmacy and healthcare software solutions companies in the UK.
This C# Developer role will be based in Leyland, Lancashire and will see you working on a new greenfield project portfolio. You’ll be using the latest Microsoft technologies and actively involved in solutions design, design workshops and code review, as well as participating in Agile Scrum stand ups, reviews and retrospectives.

What experience is needed?

They’re looking for a passionate Graduate Software Developer, ideally with some commercial C# coding experience. A talented individual with a genuine interest and enthusiasm for quality solutions and development.  They’re keen to encourage you to seek out and apply new technologies, confident in expressing new ideas driving innovations. Plus, as team work and collaboration is vital to the success of the project, you’ll have very strong interpersonal and communication skills.

You'll have a degree in Computer Science, or a related subject, and/or examples of commercial software development experience, along with knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas:

  • C#, .NET Framework, UWP/WPF, XAML, Visual Studio.
  • Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
  • Web Services
  • Databases
  • N-tier architectures
  • Agile Scrum practices and development methods

If you do have any experience of mobile development, such as Xamarin, and/or an understanding of UX design principles this would be really useful, but it’s not essential.
