Lead / Senior Developer Global R&D Team - North West

Newton Blue is the on-site recruiter for some of the UK's leading Tech Co's. We’re currently recruiting a Senior Developer for Sy by Cegedim, the UK arm of the 350 strong international Sy business, part of the global Cegedim group with around 5500 people across 10 countries.

"We’re looking for an experienced UK based Senior / Lead Software Developer to join our global R&D team located across the UK, France and Egypt. Working across the whole development lifecycle with a tech stack of C#, ASP.NET, Web Services/API, SQL Server, .Net Core, Kubernates and Docker amongst others.

Your ideal role? A key role within our R&D development team, being responsible as a senior member for the development and maintenance of our core NeTIX platform which we’re currently migrating to Kubernetes. You’ll be involved in the re-platforming and convergence of parent company technologies onto the NeTIX platform and the development and maintenance of a variety of internal systems and applications."

A hybrid mix of home and occasional office work from our location in Leyland (although the role can be fully remote depending on the candidates location within the UK)

Our ideal person?

A Senior or Lead level Developer with great technical ability and a good head for business, excellent communication skills and a friendly and approachable nature

C# .NET LINQ ASP.NET Web API
Solid understanding of the practical application of agile development method
MSSQL

.NET Core Docker/Kubernetes Linux SignalR OData Git CI/CD MicroServices
Architecture experience with front end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, TypeScript
