MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - Lancashire

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join the Business Support and Finance team within one of the leading healthcare software solutions companies in the UK.
If you’re an experienced hands-on accounting professional, with experience in managing a small finance team this job opportunity could be a great fit for you. 

About the role

Based in Leyland, this Management Accountant position has the responsibility of leading and managing the Finance Team (of 5); preparing monthly management accounts for 3 entities and helping with the budgeting and forecasting for these entities. You’ll ensure deadlines are met, be responsible for billing the revenue for the Company and that this meets IRFS standards, liaise regularly across departments and companies, helping to design and implement new systems and reporting.

What they’re looking for

You’ll have proven commercial experience in Management Accounting, budgeting and forecasting in a busy multi-entity business along with:

• Team management experience, with strong team working and collaboration skills
• Advanced Excel experience and competency in IT systems such as MS Office
• Excellent business awareness, able to see the bigger picture
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A hands-on, proactive, get things done attitude

Experience of SAP Business One would be a great benefit in this role, as would accounting qualifications e.g. PQ ACCA, CIMA etc.
