We're working with one of the UK's leading developers of software solutions to the UK healthcare sector and are looking for experienced and passionate Mid - Senior level C# Developers to join their expanding Scrum Development teams in Dundee.
About the role
You'll be working on enhancement of existing applications as well as an innovative new product suite being designed and developed.
The role will see you working across the full software life-cycle in a fast paced Scrum environment. You'll be using the latest technologies with a focus on test driven development, enabling continuous integration and allowing you to develop your skills across a wide range of technologies.
What they're looking for
As a highly experienced C# Developer you will be comfortable working across the full stack and, due to the direction of their application development programme, you’ll ideally have experience of, or be flexible to work with, both desktop and mobile platforms.
A confident communicator, you're a hands‐on proactive individual with a real passion for problem solving, happy working collaboratively in a cross-functional team, as well as providing support and mentoring to other less experienced members of the team. You will also want to keep learning about and using new technologies and languages, having a flexible approach to ensure the best results.
We're looking for the following core experience/skills/knowledge:
• Solid commercial experience of writing quality code in C# and use of .Net libraries
• Experience in working with client side XAML technologies, e.g. WPF, Win8 Store, UWP
• A good understanding/experience of the following;
o OOP and key .Net development capabilities such as inheritance, access modifiers etc.
o SOLID principles
o Client development patterns, e.g. MVVM
o SCRUM (or other Agile) methodologies
o Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
o TDD and why it is good practice
• A degree in Computer Science and/or relevant hands-on industry experience
