Motion Designer home based or hybrid home/office working 6 to 12 months contract - Home based/remote

We’re working with one of the UK’s leading healthcare technology companies with businesses spanning Pharmacy software, GP Practice software, Healthcare Data and Pharmacy digital displays and content.

We’re currently looking to recruit a Motion Designer for 6 to 9 months for their Pharmacy Digital Display business, a hybrid office/home or fully home-based role which will see you creating and curating content for their in-store pharmacy digital screens. This is a small agile team so a proactive and solution focussed mind-set is needed. You will be responsible for taking requests and briefs from the Content Manager, clients and internal stakeholders, developing storyboards, developing finished animations and video content and uploading assets into the Content Management Software system.

What will you be doing?

• Creating highly engaging animations for in-store digital screens
• Working with our Content Manager to understand the project scope and objectives
• Create animation storyboards and assist in selecting appropriate graphic and animation styles for the project
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Maintaining the content library, loops and User Accounts on the Content Management System
• Editing background and product images to add to current catalogue for clients
• Assisting content manager with scheduling and reporting.
• Researching upcoming health events to source third party/ charity content for our screens
• Encoding, converting and editing videos and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics

And what are we looking for?

Although commercial experience would be ideal it’s more about the person, so recent Graduates with a degree in Design, Animation, Video Production or Motion Design would certainly be of interest.

Someone with a passion for motion design, a pro-active and solution focused mindset who thrives in a very fast paced, quick turnaround timescale environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Adobe After Effects, Illustrator &Photoshop
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Motion Graphics preferred
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills
