Your next role?

We are looking for a hungry and tenacious go getter! An experienced and self-motivated New Business Sales Manager with a genuine passion for self-generating sales to join our Client's growing team.  You will be responsible for the identification and acquisition of new supply chain transformation projects, focusing on EDI, ERP Integration or P2P within the SME space across the UK.  You will have a proven track record in lead generation, targeting, engaging and developing new business opportunities within the EDI or Software Sales sectors.  

What you'll be doing..

  • Working closely with the marketing team, conducting market research to identify selling opportunities and identifying customer need. 
  • Prospecting and lead generation with potential customers in order to generate pipeline.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers within CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations on products and services
  • Taking part in exhibitions and conferences
  • Keeping up to date with product and service information and updates
  • Providing end to end ownership of an opportunity from defining requirements and outlining a solution to creating a proposition, negotiating commercials and closing the deal.
  • Coordinating internal and external service providers to deliver a successful pitch.

What are we looking for?

  • A 100% proven track record in lead generation and new business
  • A process driven Sales Manager from an EDI or software sales background
  • A fantastic communicator who works well in a team and can liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • A critical thinker and problem solver who can manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception to delivery start and commercial close
  • Proficiency in MS Office
