We’re recruiting a Pre-Sales Consultant for a rapidly expanding Tech Company specialising in electronic document and data interchange allowing customers and suppliers to trade easily and securely. They offer a fully managed service built upon its world class SaaS integration platform which connects businesses & trading relationships worldwide.
The platform currently exchanges over 14 million documents per month and £6 billion of transactions annually and is used across a variety of industry and business sectors.

What you’re looking for?

The Pre Sales Consultant is a core member of the team, helping to identify and develop revenue opportunities with new prospects and existing customer base. This involves analysing complex customer requirements and providing a compelling, unique value proposition to the customer, which leverages one or more solutions from the company’s product portfolio. The Pre Sales Consultant understands the integration and data management challenges businesses face and can help customer visualise how their solutions meet their business needs:

  • Design complete, innovative and results-oriented EDI solutions for clients
  • Plan, prepare and conduct EDI presentations and product demos for clients, supporting the Sales team
  • Assist Sales quotation and proposal preparation by investigating and estimating development\QA
  • Some travel, mainly within UK but occasionally to other countries
  • Take part in contract negotiations led by the sales team
  • Co-operate with other teams within the business to drive the innovation of our EDI portfolio

what we’re looking for?

  • Strong presentation skills, initiative, results-oriented and proven influencing / impact skills
  • Problem solving attitude and strong analytical skills
  • Proven self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, allowing you to work independently and take responsibility for your own actions
  • Happy to work under pressure, meet deadlines and accept responsibility
  • Strong customer relationship skills, problem resolution, improved efficiencies and productivity
  • Charisma and optimism in day-to-day work, as well as team-spirit, patience, confidence and determination to reach goals
Background & experience
  • Minimum 2 years of pre-sales/sales consulting, ERP or EDI experience
  • Strong understanding of EDI, ERP and preferably ERP integration
  • Microsoft CRM an advantage (Training will be given)
  • Atlassian Jira & Confluence an advantage (Training will be given)
