Newton Blue is the onsite recruiter for this leading healthcare solutions company. With around 200 people across the UK they play a pivotal role in the health and well-being  of the populations health and patient outcomes. We're looking for a Product Owner to join the team, a varied role which is key to the future success of the product portfolio.
What's involved?
You'll work with a number of teams across the full product lifecycle including product, development, testing and delivery.
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Responsible for ensuring the feature is development complete and delivered to the customer on time
  • Work closely with the development team to understand new feature/product requests (national/end user) and prioritise product backlog
  • Liaise with the customer (internal or external) to understand the requirements and become the subject matter expert
  • Arrange discovery sessions across teams to understand requirements, dependencies, and agree solution
  • Produce product documentation in line with product management processes to ensure secure and safe delivery of products.
  • Ensure Clinical Safety/RAID/Security reviews are carried out and documented
  • Create requirements, user stories and organise planning and refinements sessions as part of the development cycle.
  • Listen to customers and provide feedback during the feature/product lifecycle
  • Contribute to companywide updates
  • Research and analyse market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry 
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
and what are we looking for?
Ideally someone with existing commercial Product Owner experience although we are open to graduates with a product related degree
