Product Owner/Product Manager - Bristol

The Role:

We're working with a market leading software developer to the global healthcare insurance sector and we need a forward thinking, dynamic and imaginative Product Owner/Product Manager to join their established product team. You will be from an Agile SAAS B2B background and will naturally be able to challenge the status quo, coming up with new and experimental ideas and features.  You will work closely with the local and remote development teams, clients, consultants and customers, gathering information, problem solving and building relationships. We want you to bring your creative flair, ingenious ideas and shine bright!

With an enviable client list across the UK, US, and EMEA, they've built an exceptional reputation within the industry and are at an exciting time in their Company growth, geographical spread and product development. 

You will help to support and guide the successful design, release, and delivery of software for a range of insurance clients, looking at product multifunctionality. 

Core responsibilities will include: 

• Defining requirements by working with Product Management stakeholders to develop the shared vision and roadmap. 

• Writing user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes/user journeys. 

• Working with the development team to refine and prioritise the product backlog. 

• Ensuring high quality solutions are delivered to your customers, whilst maximising the value of the product. 

• Participating in Scrum events and working in 3 weekly sprints to ensure continuous product development and improvement. 

What we’re looking for: 

• 4 years + product experience in software, financial services or insurance 

• SAAS B2B background 

• Agile Scrum software delivery experience 

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 

• Experience in leading user/client interviews and workshops 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Creative and innovative flair 

This is a hybrid working model whereby you will work 2 days from their brand-new state of the art Bristol office and 3 days at home. 

Salary up to £55k plus great benefits package.
