Project Manager - North West

to £40,000 plus benefits - Programme / Project / Business Analysis

We’re recruiting an experienced Project Manager for one of the UK’s largest developers of healthcare software solutions. It’s a key role, taking responsibility for business-centric project ownership and the management of customer/commercial projects. There will be a mix of new product pilots, upgrade and new version deployments and the implementations of technology solutions for new customers, mainly GP practices and health boards.  It will also cover the design or improvement of the Project Management processes, adoption of the best practice Project Management methodology and tools as well as the development of relevant document and project reporting templates.

  • Collate and manage the information required for a potential project and assess its scope
  • Identify all resources that need to be allocated to a project
  • Verify time, budget, risk and impact assumptions before the project is tackled
  • Create project plans, managing a portfolio of projects prioritising and scheduling
  • Maintain a Service Delivery Pipeline
  • Coordinate actions of engaged internal and external stakeholders
  • After project implementation manage the transition to the Customer Support team
  • Track actual costs associated with the project against a project budget in real-time
  • Develop all required project documentation and reporting templates

An experienced Project Manager with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and inherently motivated by delivering results against business objectives. Happily works under pressure, managing several client facing projects of varying priority and complexity with strong empathy for customer needs and a deep understanding of value drivers and value propositions.
  • Strong commercial Project Management experience
  • Healthcare, software or IT industry experience
  • Driving licence
  • Happy with UK travel to client sites when needed
  • Mix of office and remote working
