Sales Support Specialist - Hybrid working - North West

Are you a detail oriented and adaptable Sales Support Specialist looking for your next rewarding career move?  A leading EDI Solutions Company in the North West has a new opening for a Sales Administrator to join their sales team providing support to their 7 strong team.  This is a hybrid role where you will work 3 days in the Leyland office and 2 at home. You will play a key part in the day to day sales administration, responding to customer and prospect queries, completing/amending sales orders, verifying customer information, relaying order instructions and producing monthly sales reports. You will be the gateway into the CRM, checking details and filling in any gaps whilst also championing the new CRM system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings, and sales appointments, and follow up with customers in relation to their orders
  • Allocate and track sales leads
  • Assist the sales team with quotation and proposal preparation
  • Create and process orders in a timely manner, process requests for urgent requirements, and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain CRM records and ensure CRM best practice is followed
  • Compile monthly sales reports
  • Serve as advisor to our employees by answering all of their sales related questions and concerns
  • Some travel, mainly within UK, plus occasionally to other countries;

What they're looking for:

  • 12 months + experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Specialist
  • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM Systems, MS Dynamics desirable
  • Understanding of sales process, preferably with customer service experience
  • Ability to interpret sales metrics
  • A critical thinker and problem-solver who works well in a team
  • Great interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office including intermediate Excel skills
