We're working with one of the UK's leading developers of software solutions to the UK healthcare sector and are looking for an experienced Senior level Developer to join their busy Scrum Development team in Dundee.
About the role
You'll be part of a Scrum team delivering high quality, innovative solutions using the latest technologies.
The role will see you effectively facilitating discussions; technical or otherwise, leading to clear and agreed upon deliverables or outcomes. You'll also be a key contributor to the development, whilst supporting and mentoring team members to complete the deliverables in the agreed timescales and standards.
What they're looking for
As a highly experienced C# .Net Developer you will be comfortable working across the full stack and you’ll ideally have experience of both desktop and mobile platform development.
A confident communicator, you're a hands‐on proactive individual with a real passion for problem solving, happy working collaboratively in a cross-functional team, as well as providing guidance to other less experienced members of the team. You will also want to keep learning about and using new technologies and languages, having a flexible approach to ensure the best results.
We're looking for the following core experience/skills/knowledge:
• Extensive commercial experience of writing quality code in C# and use of .Net libraries
• A complete understanding/experience of OOP and key .Net development capabilities
• Solid understanding/experience of the following;
o SOLID principles
o Design patterns
o SCRUM (or other Agile) methodologies
o TDD
Any experience of WPF, developing iOS and Android applications or of Java, Spring Boot etc would be really useful, as would experience of working with Jenkins or Azure Devops.
