We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading healthcare technology solutions providers.
You’ll be part of their professional and dedicated UK IT team supporting company and client systems.
This role will be hybrid Leyland office/home based.
What will you be doing..
The role will see you providing an effective, efficient and high quality support service for both the company and client systems and infrastructure; including data centres, servers, networks & telephony systems. Proactively monitoring the IT infrastructure in order to meet agreed service levels and aim for complete customer satisfaction.
You will contribute to the wider IT strategy, take a lead on IT infrastructure projects and act as an escalation point to end users.
Design, plan and implement new solutions in accordance with business requirements, and understanding the risks and security considerations involved.
The person we're looking for..
You’re an experienced and confident Infrastructure Engineer, with proven commercial hands-on experience in a 3rd line or similar infrastructure role. An excellent communicator, with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to translate technical language into non IT jargon. You are a natural problem solver, who can diagnose complex issues, delivering solutions efficiently and professionally. You have skills and experience in:

If you have prior experience of Linux administration and PowerShell this would be beneficial, but not essential.
