IT Service Desk Support Analyst - North West

We’re working with a leading 120 strong technology company based in Chorley, looking to recruit 2 IT Service Desk Support Analysts to join their existing service desk team of 12. With a rapidly expanding client base and one of the best reputations in the industry they’re a main player within their software development & solutions sector.

The role: As an IT Support Analyst you’ll be providing remote technical support to a UK wide customer base. You could be troubleshooting anything from a password reset, a user issue, hardware or software problems, issues with the companies own software solutions or more complex issues which require you accessing the user’s desktop or server. You’ll receive full training and support in the role, but you’ll also have the opportunity for proper career development and progression into different technical roles. It’s an ideal role for someone with existing technical skills looking to build a career within IT.

Our person: We’re looking for people with great customer skills, a friendly, personable and professional manner and an inherent belief in delivering great customer experience time after time after time. You’ll also have good IT troubleshooting skills and a passion for technology - building, fixing and troubleshooting PC’s in your spare time. You’ll have previous customer support or customer service skills and the ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure.

Starting salary is £17,500 plus paid overtime, rising to £21,000 over 18 months.
