Service Desk Support Analyst - North West

£23,000 + overtime rising to £25,000 + overtime plus benefits and training - Technical Support

We’re working with a 100+ strong Lancashire software solutions company, looking to recruit an additional team member to join their “best-in-sector” IT Service Desk. We’re looking for someone who believes inherently in delivering a great customer experience, with a friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills and good all-round technical ability
Starting salary is £23,000 to £25,000 and full training and support is provided.
 
The companies leading, cutting edge solutions are used in around 2000 locations across the UK. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers with technical problems or queries, anything from a simple password reset to far more complex hardware and software technical problems which you will deal with over the phone or by remotely accessing the users system.
You’ll be joining an existing team of 14 Service Desk Analysts renowned for the quality of technical support and customer experience they deliver, receive full training and have the opportunity for fast career progression into different tiers on the service desk.

  • Working within an existing team of 14 you’ll provide technical phone-based support to a UK wide client base

  • Dealing with a wide range of technical issues of varying levels of complexity, some will cover the companies own software solutions, others could be anything involving hardware, software, printers, epos, user issues etc. 
  • Being trained and developed properly, starting off on the lower level tech issues before progressing at your own pace into more and more technical problems

  • Good technical knowledge and IT troubleshooting skills
  • Naturally great customer skills and an inherent belief in delivering great customer experience every time
  • With great communication skills, personable approachable with a bright mind-set
  • Passionate about IT, wanting to build a career within technology and develop their existing skills and experience
  • Qualified to BTEC/Degree in IT or a recent CompTIA certificate
Starting salary is £23,000 + paid overtime (circa £2,000) rising to £25,000 + paid overtime after 12 months. Plus a great range of benefits, full training and proper career progression and opportunities to move into more technical roles
