The role

You’ll be joining the Technical Service Desk team for a market leading healthcare software solutions provider. Based in Swansea, you'll give specialist support to their UK wide client base within GP Practices and wider NHS and private health services. You’ll deal with a range of 1st - 3rd line support calls, with varying degrees of complexity, for their clinical and healthcare software products. Working to agreed service levels, you be focused on providing exceptional service ensuring a superb customer experience

Your experience

Ideally you’ll already have been working in a technical Help Desk job and will have customer support experience, most likely in a phone-based role.

You’ve a passion for IT and technology; possibly coding, or fixing computers, in your spare time or even helping friends and family with technical issues. You’ve probably studied IT at school, college or University and may have a Comp TIA certificate, or similar, and have good knowledge of software and systems such as Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office.

You definitely want a career in IT and are looking for an interesting and challenging role with a company that will train and develop you, helping to build your technical knowledge as well as your specialist knowledge of our products.

You are naturally inquisitive, enjoy problem solving and want to keep learning new skills.  You’re also friendly and confident with an excellent telephone manner, can keep calm under pressure and and possess an inherent belief in delivering superb customer service every time.

If you have any prior experience with SQL, Windows Server or remote desktop that would be great, but it’s not essential.
