We’re currently recruiting for an API Cloud Developer for our Battersea based tech client; one of the UK’s largest developers of front- line clinical systems and solutions within the UK healthcare sector.

You'll join a new, dedicated API team taking ownership for the quality and consistency of the API across all the company’s software products and linking in with 3rd party providers API.

What will you be doing?

It’s a role which will see you working through the full delivery cycle, including test and deployment. You will  have the opportunity to utilise the entire AWS technology stack, helping to define the clinical model, how that translates into the API, setting relevant mock test environments, ultimately ensuring the best possible products and service provision across a wide range of internal and external customers.

The small but highly experienced team share responsibility for managing the Scrum, collaborating closely, leading and participating in meetings, stand ups and stakeholder engagement.

What they’re looking for….

You’re comfortable with and have experience of working in a fast-paced and fluid Agile Scrum development environment, collaborating with colleagues as well as internal/external stakeholders. You’re naturally inquisitive, confident, with excellent communication skills.

Key skills/knowledge for this role include:

  • AWS experience
    • SAM
    • CloudFormation
    • Lambda
  • Full product lifecycle
  • Node.js (or other JavaScript)

If you have experience of any of the following areas, it would be really useful, but it's not essential:

  • REST, OpenAPI; Application security; Continuous deployment; git; Atlassian products such as BitBucket, Jira; clinical data modelling or healthcare data systems

They are offering

A competitive salary and a great range of company benefits, including matched pension, health cash plan and well-being allowance.
It’s a friendly, supportive and focused environment, working within a highly enthusiastic and experienced team who are really excited about their new project focus, taking huge pride in what they do and the positive impact this has on a wide range of health service providers across the UK.

It's a permanent full time role with the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days /week after initial induction and training.
