We’re working with a leading tech company, looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to ensure the smooth running of multiple teams and people across the Installations, Operations, Release and Delivery functions.

The person will work closely with the Service Delivery Director, sitting between him and other managers, team leaders and team members involved in the full end-to-end cycle from release to delivery.

Your perfect role?

We’re looking for the Delivery Manager to come in with a fresh set of eyes, looking at everything across their teams and area of the business from the ground up, identifying what’s working and what need improved. It’s a wide-ranging role, managing teams who each face a variety of challenges and require different solutions and approaches:

  • Building and maintaining their teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well together
  • Implementing best practice and ensuring a customer centric approach and customer satisfaction ethic is embedded into the business
  • Ensure teams work well together, understand each other’s roles, responsibilities, what they bring and the challenges each face
  • Embedding a culture of cross-team respect
  • Ensuring every team member has the right skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in their role and benefit the wider business
  • Be involved in resource planning
  • Ensure teams know what “good” looks like
  • Create a culture where people naturally assume responsibility, take responsibility for resolving issues and are respectful and helpful to each other
  • Identify skills gaps, training and coaching needs
  • Identify team members strengths and weaknesses

What we're looking for?

We’re looking for an experienced Manager from a tech sector solutions background ideally in API, ERP, Integration, Systems, EDI, Implementations or similar.

  • 5-10 years management experience
  • Resource planning
  • Work scheduling
  • Development scheduling
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experienced in best practice design, implementation and management
  • Naturally customer centric – setting high standards for the team and knowing what “good” looks like
  • Great at creating a motivated working environment where people have confidence in themselves and others around them
  • Strong at developing individuals, bringing out their strengths and addressing skills gaps
