GP Software Trainer - freelance 12 -18 months @ 3 days per week - Wales

We’re working with Vision, one of the largest developers of GP practice software in the UK; with 250 staff in the UK they're part of the wider Cegedim Group, a global business with 4000+ people across 10 countries. We’re looking for someone with GP sector experience to help deliver Vision user training to GP practices throughout Wales but primarily across South Wales.

Although it would be great if you have previous L&D experience, don’t worry if not as they're happy to train someone with the right personality and potential!

What’s involved?

Recent changes across the Welsh Health Authority have resulted in a number of GP practices migrating from their existing software supplier to Vision, with a number of existing customers also upgrading to the new Vision system later this year. Around 300 GP Practices will require training, a mix of pre-live training: functionality & user training:  go-live & configuration training, taking place within the practice and being delivered to users of all levels. It’s an exciting role which begins with you learning Visions system and then spending time on-site with a variety of practices and users, delivering the necessary training throughout the migration and implementation process.

It’s a genuinely interesting and challenging role which will see you on-site most days, dealing with stakeholders of all levels, delivering  a superb customer experience and top-quality on boarding and ensuring each practice gets the most from the system.

What are we looking for?

Someone with good experience working within a GP practice and the potential to train users on Visions software. If you have previous training experience then great, however we’re happy to develop someone so long as they have the right personality, potential and mind-set.

• Previous GP Practice experience
• Good understanding of GP Practice software (Vision, EMIS etc.)
• A confident, outgoing and friendly personality
• Previous training experience in some form would be ideal

Package: Package £255 per day + expenses (mileage, subsistence, accommodation etc)  Average of 3 days per week for 18 months
