Junior Project Manager. Newton Blue is the on-site recruiter for a number of the UK’s leading healthcare and tech companies. We’re currently recruiting a Project Manager with 1 - 3 years PM experience for one of the UK’s leading healthcare software solutions companies, a role which will see you involved in lots of internal mini-projects and managing client roll-outs across high street pharmacies  and GP Practices UK wide

                 .....what you’re looking for?

As Project Manager you’ll be responsible for business-centric project ownership and the management of customer/commercial projects, including new product pilots, upgrade/new version deployments & implementations of technology solutions for new customers. You’ll also be involved in the design & improvement of PM processes, adoption of the best practice PM methodology and the development of relevant document and project reporting templates.

  • Collate and manage the information required for a potential project and assess its scope, duration and associated costs
  • Identify all resources that need to be allocated to a project, verify time, budget, risk and impact assumptions before the project is tackled
  • Create and update project plans for multiple projects, managing a portfolio of projects, prioritising and scheduling them in line with business needs
  • Maintain a Service Delivery Pipeline; coordinate actions of stakeholders from internal and external teams, conducting a weekly call with the stakeholders of each project to review the progress versus deadlines, blockers, dependencies and risks
  • Once project is successfully completed manage the transition of a customer to the Customer Support team

  • Someone with an outgoing, friendly and approachable personality, a keen problem solving approach and can-do mind-set.
  • Excellent communications skills, easily managing on-going stakeholder engagement, happily working in a team but comfortable remaining motivated whilst working remotely or alone
  • 1-3 years project management experience involving lots of client facing and mini-projects within technology or software solutions sectors
  • A good understanding of project management methodologies, planning, resource allocation, timescales, cost projection and cost management
