Recruitment resourcer. Home based  2-3 days per week 

Newton Blue manages the In-house recruitment function for a number of the UK’s leading healthcare technology companies. Due to an increase in vacancies we’re looking for an experienced recruitment resourcer to work 2 or 3 days per week for the next 3 to 6 months.

You’ll be working on vacancies in Bristol, London, Manchester, Wales and Scotland for roles as diverse as software developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Managers, sales & marketing to name a few.

What’s the role?

You’ll be primarily qualifying candidates who have applied directly for our live roles through our own website, job-board adverts or our client’s careers pages.

We’ll shortlist the most suitable candidates for you to qualify over the phone, describing the company, role, culture etc. You’ll go through their CV, skills and background, assessing their suitability for the role and highlighting any shortcomings or potential issues.

• Candidate qualification – dealing with candidates over the phone, discussing the role they’ve applied for and describing the company and opportunity. Assessing their personality, skills and experience and judging how well they match the requirement
• System work – updating the applicant tracking systems with your notes and comments, interview confirmation, documentation etc.
• Advertising – making sure adverts are placed on a variety of job-boards, kept up to date, ensuring responses are managed properly
• Resourcing – utilise external licensed job-board databases to identify and approach suitable candidates

What are we looking for?

• Someone experienced at working within recruitment and qualifying candidates over the phone
• A great personality – warm and friendly – and an excellent telephone manner
• Able to describe a role and company in an interesting and engaging way
• A great judge of character
• Ability to assess candidate’s suitability for a role and spot potential pitfalls
• Naturally well organised and able to juggle different things at the same time
• Able to keep yourself motivated and focused
• A nice person to work with and deal with !!!

As it’s a home based role you’ll need your own PC or laptop (we’ll set you up with a work email address and pay your mobile expenses) and have a quiet place to work.
