Senior Solutions Sales Specialist - North West

£70k-£80k basic plus uncapped comm - Sales & Marketing

We’re working with one of the UK’s leading providers of EDI and Procure to Pay services and solutions, expanding after seeing an increasing opportunity in their target market for significant supply chain transformation projects, focused on EDI, P2P and Supply Chain Business Networks solutions

We’re looking for a Senior Solution Sales Specialists to join their UK team. Someone with a proven track record in selling Supply Chain software solutions, engaging with customers around supply chain related digital transformation projects, being responsible for engaging, understanding, qualifying and leading the successful closure of solutions and service opportunities.

The specialist will be responsible for creating, selling and commercially owning significant software Solution Sales engagements. The business currently has around 45 people, so you’ll be rolling up your sleeves and being hands-on in pretty much every aspect of the sales process: RFI’s, RFP’s, bids, pricing, presentations etc.

  • Provide end-to-end ownership for an opportunity
  • Developing, leading and owning opportunities, selling to major UK / Global Enterprise and Central Government customers
  • Assisting the customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition and responsible for negotiating commercials and closing the deal
  • Responsible for coordinating the internal service providers and any external suppliers to deliver a successful pitch
  • Develop strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share
  • Ensure high levels on internal and external stakeholder satisfaction through the sales cycle and project delivery.

What makes our ideal person?

  • A proven track record in selling enterprise level Supply Chain software solutions, ERP, EDI, electronic data/documentation, technical pre-sales or similar
  • Credible specialist knowledge and can articulate this well whilst communicating effectively with the client up to C-suite
  • The ability to work effectively with NetEDI/Cegedim’s technical solution experts in defining the right proposition for a specific clients' needs
  • The ability to manage the entire deal life-cycle from inception to delivery start and commercial close

Starting salary is £70k-£80k with uncapped commission, a home & field based customer facing role with clients across the UK.
