Senior Technical Solutions Consultant / Product Management - hybrid working - Bristol

£60,000 to £80,000 + benefits and hybrid working - Programme / Project / Business Analysis

We’re working with a leading global healthcare insurance solutions tech-co based in Bristol, looking for an experienced Technical Solutions Consultant with Product Management experience to work closely with a range of international clients.

The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant role encompasses two main activities:

1)Technical Product Management, a cross departmental role to define and implement the technical requirements for a cloud based product, to ensure rapid and repeatable deployments, constant monitoring and support facilities for our solutions

2)Technical Solutions Consulting , working with external Clients that include Integrations, Infrastructure and Data Migration.

Your ideal next role?

Manages the “big picture” of the market expectations and the product technically, working alongside delivery solutions manager, development product owners / CTO / sales & presales team to ensure backlog and roadmap are aligned to market / customer needs
Follows the Agile Product Management scheme developing the Technical Product Roadmap. Accountable for the final technical Product Definition, the configuration, deployment and monitoring toolsets
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and potential opportunities. They will also understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry. make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in
Has responsibility of the technical solution design across all projects. Understand the aims of the project, authorise the technical solution design aligned with the capability of the product, monitor projects ongoing from a solution design perspective ensuring continued delivery against authorised design or agreeing design change. Arbitrate on differences of opinion on optimal solution.
Providing direction and oversight to the technical consultancy and delivery team in the design and implement of solutions for the business and customers

Define the technical architecture for the integration of our software within Client and 3rd party strategic partners ecosystems. This includes defining Integration Strategy, completing gaps analysis, interface design, security analysis and software selection
Plan, implement and manage data migration activities from client existing systems / applications
Participate in implementation projects, lead of technical work-streams including liaison with clients on their development and infrastructure activities, or supporting technical consultants where they are leading specific work-streams

What are they looking for?

Someone from a software development or a deployment background, principally in Microsoft technologies, experienced in the full software development lifecycle who has worked in Technical Consultancy and Product Management positions.

Experience of requirements gathering
Ability to document requirements, solutions, and infrastructure architecture design
Proven experience in delivery of SaaS projects including technical infrastructure, environments, networks, security processes and associate compliance / regulation with associated service offerings to support SaaS model
Experience in diagnosing issues in complex distributed architectures involving hybrid cloud scenarios, messaging systems and APIs.
Experience in implementing software in complex IT integration landscapes on premise and SaaS
